Centennial Dog Park:
At this private dog park that also has an area for small dogs, your dog will go wild if he can walk off a leash. Dog vaccinations and licenses required. Outside the park, dogs are welcome in the pedestrian zones and in the open fields. The Centennial Sportsplex on 25th Avenue N has public parking.
The Trails at Fontanel:
Bring your beloved pet and take a trip through The Trails in Fontanel for a relaxing stroll down a well-tended trail. The path is lined with benches, and you can enjoy the calm tranquility of Whites Creek and the view of the impressive Fontanel Mansion.
Shelby Bottoms Greenway:
The Shelby Bottoms Greenway is a multipurpose trail in Nashville that’s perfect for hiking with Fido. Rails-to-Trails Conservancy is providing Bring Fido map data for this trail for informational purposes only.
Smith Springs Recreational Area:
Hunting, fishing, boating, picnicking, boating, horseback riding, hiking, and wildlife viewing are all available at the Smith Springs Recreation Area. Since it is located in J. Percy Priest Lake, dogs can swim in it. You should stay away from the fishing lines as people fish nearby, but there are plenty of beaches for everyone. The picnic area is nice and shady. Open from April 1st to October 29th.
Pet Portrait Painting with a Local Artist:
Sarah is hosting a pet-friendly Airbnb experience called Painting Pet Portraits with a Local Artist. Your well behaved dog can sit with you while you paint your picture if you get permission to do so beforehand. As class locations change, please contact the host prior to booking for permission to bring Fido with you. If you just want to bring a photo of your pet, that’s ok too. The 2.5-hour tour can accommodate up to 9 people aged 18 and over. The cost per person starts at $55.
