- Frist Art Museum — This museum first opened in 2001 in a building which was originally Nashville’s main post office. The museum does not have a permanent collection, which means it is prime for multiple visits per year. You will find everything from Japanese art to vintage automobiles here. A live music show called ‘Music at the Frist’ is organized once a month in the café here as well.
- Grand Ole Opry — This is the city’s premier music venue, and regularly hosts legends of country music as well as other genres. Famous singers such as Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash have performed at this venue. You can also catch stand up comedy shows here. Shows for all ages are hosted here.
- Band Box — This is a wonderfully hip place that can be found in the right field of First Tennessee Park. It is the ideal spot to be at during a Nashville Sounds minor league baseball game. It is a massive 4000 square foot outdoor restaurant and bar, and is regarded as home turf for the Nashville Sounds. You can occupy yourself with a plethora of entertainment options such as ping pong, giant Jenga, mini golf, shuffleboard, and others. Food and beverage options are far more elaborate than most average stadiums as well.
- Biscuits from Loveless Cafe — Flaky, feathery, and often regarded as one of the greatest contributions of Nashville to American culture, the biscuits at Loveless are simply on a level all their own. Other than the biscuits, red-eye gravy, fruit preserves, and country ham are also famous here.
- Game Point Cafe — Offering more than 400 board games along with delicious coffee drinks, Game Point Cafe is a prime spot to kick back with friends and enjoy a little laid back fun. The staff here is very knowledgeable and will always help you pick games if you like.
